Service and Solutions
cineFinance is a wholly owned subsidiary of HCC
Insurance Holdings, Inc. In addition to our increased insurance
capacity and the ability to provide an array of insurance products
to our clients, we are able to issue bonds and insurance policies
directly from HCC, not requiring insurance “cut-through”
provisions.
By understanding the complex components of today’s independent
film financing landscape, cineFinance can fully service and accommodate
international co-productions, tax financing structures and regional
subsidy programs, and facilitate a producer’s access and ability
to finalize his production financing competitively and promptly.
Through longstanding worldwide relationships with insurers, financiers,
producers, and distributors, cineFinance is able to access expertise
often not directly available to a film’s producers. Based
in Los Angeles, with associates in New York, Paris, Sydney and Hong
Kong, cineFinance brings extensive international experience in all
aspects of film insurance and risk management, motion picture packaging,
production, financing and distribution
Day to day operations are run by Fred Milstein, former senior motion
picture agent with The William Morris Agency, head of production
and acquisitions for Miramax, and Vice President at The Completion
Bond Company .
